(More customer reviews)I bought these to clicker train my cat.The treats are too big.I tried cutting them, but they just crumble apart.I am reduced to re-hydrating them and then cutting into smaller pieces.My cat likes them though and training is proceeding well.

This process allows for maximum nutrient retention of the raw product. Many so-called freeze-dried treats are processed quickly in a day or less at temperatures exceeding 180 degrees Fahrenheit, effectively cooking the product. This defeats the purpose of freeze-drying, as enzymes and other essential nutrients begin to deteriorate at 118 degrees Fahrenheit.
