I am so happy to have found this stuff! My dog is a 17 year old Australian Cattle Dog and Jack Russell mix.In the past 6 months he has really started to loose interest in everything but food.Thankfully he lives to eat, so as long as I keep feeding him ...:)Anyway - he paces a LOT and was starting to get himself stuck in corners and such.He also has had a problem with fecal incontinence. Add to this mix a very stressful past 2 months leading up to a move last week.My poor guy was a basket case. He even started getting a mild case of the night time crazies. Our vet suggested I try Cholodin as well as DAP.I started both on the same day - which happened to be about a week before our move.I didn't notice any change for about 36 hours. But then it was amazing. He became so much calmer and he is sleeping though the night. He has only been on Choldin for 2 weeks and I am also still using the DAP, but he is doing great! And he handled the move like a champ. He still paces, I think maybe this is just and Aussie dog thing, as our other dog used to do this as well. But his pacing isn't as wild and he isn't getting stuck or lost anywhere. As for the pooping in the house ... that is about 50% better. He seems to be much more aware that it is about to happen and is able to let us know better. He really seems to be very aware of everything that is going on and not nearly as confused.Hopefully he will continue to show improvements. But even if he stays just the way he is now, I am thrilled that my 17.5 year old dog who just went through such a stressful move is doing as great as he is.This stuff absolutely works! I am sure he will be on it for the rest of his life. Please check out the DAP as well.It was a lifesaver during our move and now getting settled in a new place!

Product Description:
CHOLODIN contains sources of choline and posphatidylcholine, two of the most common phospholipids. When present in sufficient dietary quantities, these components act as neurotransmitter precursors, which are chemicals manufactured and released by nerve cells that initiate the sending of "messages" from those cells. Occasionally, geriatric dogs and cats display clinical signs unexplainable by a specific pathological diagnosis. Examples include: Lethargy and reduced awareness of surroundings.Poor coat; excessive shedding or thin, dry coat.Chronic constipation or fecal incontinence.Inappropriate urination.Poor appetite; animal eats too little to maintain an adequate body weight.Poor mental acuity. For animals displaying one or more of these conditions, choline supplementation with CHOLODIN may be a very effective aid in treatment. CHOLODIN has four major functions: 1. It is a significant dietary factor in preventing fatty-liver syndrome in diabetic dogs.2. It can donate methyl groups needed to synthesize other compounds. 3. It is necessary for acetyl-choline formation. 4. It is a component of phospolipid and lecithin, and a constituent of plasmalogens, which are abundant in mitochondria and in sphingomyelin, found particularly in the brain. Small Animal Dietary Supplement: Active Ingredient(s): CHOLODIN contains: Phosphatidylcholine (from soy lecithin), choline (as chloride), dl-methionine, inositol, zinc (as oxide), niacinamide, vitamin E, thiamine (mononitrate), riboflavin, pyridoxine (HCl), selenium (sodium selenite), vitamin B12 (cobalamin concentrate), and dexpanthenol.
