Just look up research done at MayoClinic.com of this age-old remedy. It works in animals the same way as humans, is used in Hep-C therapies, and is even being tested as an anti-cancer drug as well.
(Fun fact: An injection of silybin is used as the antidote for Death Cap mushroom poisoning!)
